*Sean “Diddy” Combs’ collection of keys to the city will decrease by one, with Miami Beach locking the door on the disgraced Bad Boy Records founder.  Miami city officials are in final negotiations to rescind the key imminently.

The action stems from Combs’ recent arrest and sex trafficking indictment as well as a growing number of accusations against him.

The exact day the revocation will be finalized has not been confirmed, due to Hurricane Milton. According to insiders, the storm is expected to hit Florida on Wednesday, reports Love B. Scott.

With its decision to take back its key from Combs, Miami Beach becomes the latest city to rescind the honor, which the 54-year-old music mogul received from former mayor Philip Levine during the Revolt Music Conference at the Fontainebleau in October 2015.

In June, Combs returned the Key to the City to New York City in June after that city’s mayor, Eric Adams, requested it back in a letter.

Adams explained the reason for his request, citing the infamous hotel surveillance video of Combs assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in hotel footage and the ensuing controversy.

Adams voiced his support of domestic abuse survivors in the letter, in addition to emphasizing that Combs no longer met the criteria for receiving the key to his city which is awarded to model citizens.

Love B. Scott notes that the “All About the Benjamins” rapper was also previously awarded the ceremonial Key to the City from Chicago. At this time, it is unclear if the Windy City has joined New York and Miami Beach in rescinding the honor.
