*Pam Grier is teaming up with Cardi B on a new movie, but fans must wait at least two years to watch it because the rapper is teaching her how to pole dance.
“I’m doing, presently, my biopic as a series. As soon as I finish that, I really want to work with her,” Grier said on the April 17 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, MadameNoire reports. “It could be in maybe two years at the theater ’cause I’m now learning how to pole dance.”
She added, “And it’s taking a minute, but it’s a lot of fun. It’s a wonderful story. I don’t want to give it away, but it’s perfect for her because she’s a great mom,” Grier said.
According to MadameNoire, Grier mentioned her collaboration with Cardi B in 2022.
“I’m writing something for me and Cardi B,” Grier stated. “I love Cardi and ‘WAP.’ She [Megan Thee Stallion] and Lizzo and Nicki Minaj and some of the others, they know — you gotta make your own style. You get to hire people later. But you come up with your own stuff, then you just draw people like a magnet, so collaborators make you greater and greater.”

Meanwhile, Grier, known as the queen of Blaxploitation films, teamed with Village Roadshow Pictures to produce her biopic, “Foxy: My Life in Three Acts.”
Per Variety, the project “details Grier’s legendary screen career; her relationships with Richard Pryor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Freddie Prinze, among others; her experience as a Black female star in an era with rampant racism and sexism; and her battle with stage-four cervical cancer, diagnosed in 1988, when she was told she had 18 months to live,” the outlet writes.
The production is in the early stages of development, and the release date has been announced.
