*Usher is finally speaking out about serenading Keke Palmer during his Las Vegas residency and sparking drama with her baby daddy, Darius Jackson, who slammed her on social media.
“I think everybody’s vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas,” the R&B crooner told People magazine in a new interview. “And that’s what I hope came out of it. Rather, it was a conversation of what was going on with us having fun in front of the audience or conversation about that song.”
Usher continued: “Every night, I’m thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I’ll have with whoever I’m choosing to sing to. But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light. I don’t see anything negative happening in Las Vegas.”
We reported previously that Jackson, 29, caught major heat after putting Palmer on blast over the semi-sheer outfit she wore to Usher‘s Las Vegas residency in July. As People reports, he hit up Twitter and posted a video of Palmer dancing with the superstar along with the text, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.”
In a second tweet, Jackson wrote, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.”

“This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case,” Jackson added.
Palmer seemingly responded to his criticism by posting more photos of the outfit on Instagram, writing: “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late!”
She added … “Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself??”
As TMZ reported, Usher replied to her post … thanking Palmer for coming to his show.
Jackson and Palmer welcomed their first child together in February, a son they named Leodis “Leo” Andrellton.
The pair allegedly broke up over the Usher incident.
