*Tiffany Haddish is speaking out about her eight miscarriages and breakup with Common in a new interview with “The Washington Post.”
“It wasn’t mutual,” she told the publication. “It was more him saying, ‘I think this relationship has run its course.’ And I was like, ‘Okay. Like you gonna be a 50-year-old single man. Okay?'”
As we reported earlier, Haddish also described her relationship with the rapper/actor as “the healthiest, the funnest relationship I’ve ever had.”
In 2021, Common told Jason Lee on “Hollywood Unlocked” that he and Haddish made the “mutual” decision to break up, Complex reports.
That same year, Haddish also appeared on “Hollywood Unlocked” and admitted that although she missed Common, she was “fine” with the breakup.
“I miss him,” Haddish confessed. “I miss him from time to time but that’s with, I think, any intimate relationship that you might have, you miss them. But I’m fine with it. It’s cool.”
Elsewhere in The Washington Post profile, Haddish opens up about the eight miscarriages she’s experienced.
“I’ve got a uterus shaped like a heart, it just won’t keep anything in,” she said.
Haddish has kept her miscarriages private because she doesn’t “want people saying: ‘Are you okay? Are you alright?’ Like a wounded animal, I just rather go in a cave by myself. Lick my wounds.”
The “Girls Trip” star also addressed her endometriosis diagnosis and how she was considering adoption but is now unsure.
