Shai Moss Shines on the Big Screen in ‘A Screenshot to Santa’ | WATCH

*The famous Chinese Theater hosted True Vision Media Group’s newest film, A Screenshot To Santa featuring Shai Moss. EURs Robin Ayers was on the scene to cover the red carpet to chat with the stars in attendance.

“A Screenshot To Santa,” is directed by Monica Floyd, features Essence Atkins (Marlon, Ambitions, Are We There Yet), Tony Rock (Mann and Wife, Living Biblically, All of Us), Kennedy Stephens, Davida Williams, and newcomer Shai Moss. Stephens and Moss play two sisters at odds who are home alone before Christmas, and bond together to prevail over would-be intruders (Torrei Hart) in their home.

Moss is likely known for her spirited choreographed dances on TikTok alongside her mom and professional dancer, Joie Chavis, or joking around with her triple-threat famous dad, Shad Moss. In a recent video uploaded to Chavis’ social media, she revealed that as talented as her daughter is, she just wants to ‘be a kid’. When asked about this at the premiere, Moss quickly affirms this sentiment.

“Like a kid, I like playing soccer, I like volleyball, I like going to school with my friends. I like dancing too.”

Although the twelve-year-old is enjoying the life of an average preteen, she’s clear on why she’s excited to see herself on the big screen.

“I’m very excited to see me on the big screen, and like, see what I can do better in acting. I’m very excited for that,” said Moss.

As for where she wants to take this acting career in the future, young Moss has her eyes set on child actress turned icon, Zendaya. She cited Disney’s K.C. Undercover as the show she loves most and even watched the day of the premiere.
