*Michael B. Jordan put Morning Hustle host Lore’l on blast during a red carpet premiere event for “Creed III” last week.
During their chat, Lore’l revealed they were classmates at Chad Science [Academy] in Newark. “Oh yeah, I was the corny kid, right?” Jordan responded, referring to remarks the reporter previously made about him on a podcast. But Lore’l insisted she was “misquoted.”

Jordan was seemingly referring to an episode of the Undressing Room podcast during which Lore’l told her co-hosts Eva Marcille and Dominique da Diva that the actor seems like “a nice, corny guy.”

“You know what’s so crazy? I went to school with Michael B. Jordan at a point in life,” Lore’l said on the podcast, as reported by MadameNoire. “… And to be honest with you, we teased him all the damn time because his name was Michael Jordan. Let’s start there, and he was no Michael Jordan. And he also would come to school with a headshot. We lived in Newark, that’s the hood. We would make fun of him like, ‘What you gonna do with your stupid headshot!?’ And now look at him!”
When Jordon mentioned her “corny” remark at the “Creed III” movie premiere, Lore’l said: “No you did not hear me say that! I said we used to make fun of the name.”
She then gushed about his stellar acting career, saying Jordan “is obviously killing things out here,” and concluded the interview by telling him, “Well, you’re not corny anymore.”
Meanwhile, Jordan returns as Adonis Creed in “Creed III” which opens in theaters nationwide on Friday (March 3). Check out the official trailer below.
