According to Variety, Some alleged truths will probably hurt Lizzo (government name Melissa Viviane Jefferson) after several of her dancers filed a lawsuit against the singer, her production company Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc. (BGBT), and dance team captain Shirlene Quigley. The court documents were filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The dancers — plaintiffs Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez accused Lizzo and her team of “alleged sexual, religious and racial harassment, disability discrimination, assault, and false imprisonment, among a slew of other charges.” Even Lizzo’s former Creative Director, Courtney Hollinquest, posted on IG supporting the dancers’ claims. At this time, Lizzo has not released an official statement.
