*Lil Nas X mocked women’s menstrual cycles by dressing up as a bloody tampon for Halloween.
As SandraRose.com reports, one Twitter/X user noted: “Lil Nas X who ‘went into labor’ to promote his album, and released a song about worshipping Satan while giving the devil a lap dance, dressed up as a used tampon for Halloween. He’s a gross degenerate, desperate for attention.” Another person tweeted: “Gay men often think they can get a pass without realizing they can be equally misogynistic… it’s not up to cis men to make light of things like this.”
The 24-year-old rapper shared a video that featured him walking down a sidewalk dressed as a menstrual product – watch the clip below.
Several social media users blasted Nas X for being misogynistic and making a mockery of women.
He addressed the criticism in a post that read: “I [have] been silent for nearly 2 years, y’all are not finna pretend to be mad about a tampon costume. Let me at least get new music out first,” he wrote on X, All Hip Hop reports.

Meanwhile, we reported earlier that experts from QforQuinn conducted research to identify the top Halloween costumes in 2023 that people are searching for, and Barbie takes the crown.
The majority of sought-after Halloween costumes this year are inspired by iconic movie characters.
QforQuinn examined the “pop culture trends + Halloween costume” search counts, and Barbie topped the list with a total of 549,000 people looking to dress up as the iconic character for Halloween. According to the researchers, the most sought-after Barbie set is the Cowgirl Barbie, which includes hot pink flare pants with a vest top, a white cowgirl hat, a pink bandana, and white boots with gold stars.
The second most popular Halloween costume of 2023 is the Joker, with 454,000 searches and Wednesday Addams claims the third spot with 407,370 searches related to her outfit. In fourth place is Mario, with 333,110 people wanting to dress up as the iconic video game character. Securing the fifth position on QforQuinn’s list of the most popular Halloween outfits of 2023 is Morticia Addams from the “Addams Family,” with 287,650 searches.
