*Keke Wyatt is calling for prayer warriors after her 9-month-old was hospitalized in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) for emergency medical care.
Wyatt recently posted a video of herself holding the baby and riding in the back of an ambulance. She captioned the clip, “In the EMS BACK TO THE PICU… plz ????????????????????????.” Watch the video below.
Wyatt later shared an update about her baby boy, writing “Current situation, I can’t put him down. He won’t let me put him down. He’s been home now for a week — it’s been a week and a half. And he will not let me put him down. If I put him down, he screams,” the singer said.
Prior to the child’s birth, Wyatt reacted to the negativity online about his genetic disorder.

Last spring, Wyatt announced she was expecting her 11th child and second with husband Zackariah Darring. At the time, the singer told concertgoers in March 2022 that doctors diagnosed her then-unborn child with Trisomy 13, also called Patau syndrome.
As MadameNoire reports, the disorder occurs in about 1 in every 10,000 newborns.

Several social media users reacted to the news with rude comments, prompting Wyatt to fire off a lengthy response on Instagram.
“I’d like to send a special prayer out for the rude, cruel people that took time out of their day to get on social media and make disparaging and morbid comments concerning my pregnancy,” Wyatt captioned an Instagram video at the time of her performing.
“This past weekend at my show I was very transparent with my amazing fans (who I see as family) about the status of my pregnancy. I explained to them, the day after my maternity photo shoot my husband and I received the news that our baby tested positive for Trisomy 13 per the doctor,” she continued.

Wyatt added, “For all of the disgusting people out there that are wishing ill on me and my baby. Say what y’all want about me, I’m use[d] to it. No weapon formed against me will prosper anyway. BUT a[n] innocent unborn baby?? Be careful putting your mouth on people. I pray that God gives you grace when Life comes knocking on your front door and you won’t reap what u are sowing. For all of the POSITIVE stories, emails and support I’m getting THANK YOU! I will not let the negativity drain all of my positive energy. I work hard and my husband and I take care of ALL our children with NO help but GODS OK.”
