*Darius Jackson, Keke Palmer’s ex-boyfriend, claims he got baptized to save himself amid their custody battle.
As we reported, Palmer was granted a temporary restraining order against her baby daddy in November after accusing him of physical abuse. The “Nope” star also received custody of their nine-month-old son Leodis. The actress submitted evidence allegedly showing Jackson abusing her as part of a restraining order against him.
Palmer claims her ex was abusive throughout their two-year relationship, according to US Weekly. She filed for a domestic violence restraining order in Los Angeles and included security footage screenshots allegedly showing Jackson hitting her over a sofa.
Jackson turned to social media this week to announce he’s working on healing himself amid the drama with Palmer.
“There’s A LOT I can say but not allowed to say. And at this point, don’t even want to say. I will say, however, that God is & will always be your greatest ally,” Jackson captioned an Instagram video showing him working out — see below.

“I have put my trust, patience, timing & entire life onto him so that I can continue to get through the days. Lord Jesus has been with me throughout & has strengthen me to the point where I am continuing to push forward & not looking back,” Jackson continued. “He’s surrounded me with friends & family that has always been there as well as sending me love from many individuals who have reached out. And for that, I thank you.”
Meanwhile, Palmer recently posted a photo on Instagram showing her cuddling with her infant son and captioned it with a somber message.
“When reality tv makes everyone believe all celebrities’ lives are just one big marketing strategy and scheme but my life is truly unraveling at the seams and I just wear trauma like a dolce gabana coat because Sharon didn’t raise no b—-,” she wrote across the video.
Even though Jackson didn’t provide evidence of his baptism, he noted that “Saving myself was the 1st step.”
“Extremely blessed to have repent & be baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus,” he wrote. “But the work doesn’t stop, there’s so much I have to do in order to be fulfilled,” he wrote on Instagram.
