*Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend broke down in tears during her testimony to Manhattan jurors on Tuesday while describing their tumultuous relationship.

Grace Jabbari, 30, testified that the “Creed III” star was volatile and controlling during their two years together. She also claimed he often threatened suicide after their fights.

“It felt like I was walking around on eggshells,” said Jabbari, The Washington Post reports. “I had to be perfect.”

Majors’ fits of rage ultimately led to him assaulting her in the backseat of a car in March.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Jabbari played a recording on her iPhone of the actor demanding that she behave like Coretta Scott King or Michelle Obama. In other words, Majors wanted his White girl to cosplay as Black excellence.

On the recording, he reportedly said, “I’m a great man. A great man. I do great things for my culture and for the world. … The woman that supports me needs to be a great woman. Two nights ago, you did not do that. Which took away from the plan.”

As previously reported, Majors was arrested on March 25 in NYC following an alleged violent attack against Jabbari. The ex-couple was taking a private car from a Brooklyn party to their Chelsea apartment when she saw a text message on his phone that read, “Wish I was kissing you right now.”

When Jabbari snatched the phone out of his hands to see who sent the message, Majors “began grabbing the right side of Ms. Jabbari’s body and prying Ms. Jabbari’s right middle finger off the phone, causing bruising, swelling, and substantial pain,” per a 115-page legal filing obtained by Variety.

During testimony, Jabbari said she snatched the phone from Majors, and he twisted her arm behind her back, The Washington Post reports.

“Next I felt a really hard blow across my head,” she said.

“He’s very strong. I couldn’t move,” Jabbari continued. “It feels very loud when you’re hit in the head and just shocking.”

According to Jabbari, the early stages of their relationship were “amazing.”

“He was really kind and loving. He told me he loved me very early on, which was overwhelming, but I loved it. And I loved him,” she told the jurors, Variety reports.  “He wrote me poetry. I felt very loved and cared for and seen.”

She noticed a change in his behavior after months of dating, and ultimately, his rageful outbursts took a toll on their her.

“I just felt like I was existing in his world,” she said, Variety reports. “I had low self-esteem. I lost a lot of weight. I felt incompetent and dependent on him. He was the only one who knew what went on.”
