*At the young age of 16, Jalyn Hall is known for his talent and versatility as an actor in various TV shows and films. He is most recognized for his role as Dillon James, on “All American,” and he portrayed Emmett Till in the 2022 biographical film, “Till.”
He currently stars in the Disney+ series “The Crossover,” which, per the synopsis, “introduces teen brothers Josh and Jordan Bell, widely considered basketball phenoms. Through his lyrical poetry, an adult version of Josh, aka Filthy, narrates the story of he and his brother’s coming of age, on and off the court, as their former professional basketball player father adjusts to life after basketball, and their mother finally pursues lifelong dreams of her own.”
Season one is now streaming on Disney+ — watch our interview with Hall about the show (conducted before the SAG/WGA strike). In the meantime, the young star is starting a new school year and teaming with Invisalign’s Back-to-School campaign.
