*Jada Pinkett Smith shared a photo of her blended family in celebration of her latest endeavor.
The wife of Will Smith and mother to Jaden Smith, 25, Willow Smith, 22, and stepson Trey, 30, recently completed her book, titled “Worthy.” Due for release on October 17, the book revolves around her path toward accepting her power as a woman.
She took to Instagram to share several family photos featuring all five of them, including a sun-drenched pic on the balcony of what appears to be their Malibu family home overlooking the ocean. Will and Trey, his son with ex-wife Sheree Zampino, wore yellow long-sleeve sweatshirts, while Jaden wore a black T-shirt and Willow sported a Dashiki shirt paired with a gray sweater. Jada wore a denim jacket.
Jada captioned the post: ”A heart filling Saturday night with the fam ✨ AND … I got to celebrate the fact that I finished recording my audiobook of Worthy that afternoon with the fam as well. Joy is all too real ♥️,” adding the hashtags #familylove #IamYouareWeareWorthy.

In another recent Instagram post, Jada expressed interest in “sharing some of the process with you that it took to write this book.” She added, ”Not only has it been emotionally tasking, but it has been really technical.”
Jada also conveyed her interest in checking out other celebs’ books coming out this fall, including that of Britney Spears. In her words, ”And yesterday, I found out I’m on the Time’s Most Anticipated Books for the fall along with Kerry Washington, who I can’t wait to read her book, as well as Barbra Streisand and Britney Spears.”

In a recent interview with People Magazine, Jada revealed that her forthcoming book ”is an adventure, a search for love and self-worth.” Revealing where her inspiration came from, she stated with a laugh, ”It was like divine advice.” She continued, ”It was just like, the idea of being willing to take full responsibility for my story, through and through. And doing it with grace and love. For myself and for others.”
Jada added, ”I had so many people encourage me to write a book. But I was believing that my journey was not a worthy journey. But when I saw it on paper — I couldn’t help but look at myself and say, wow. What a life.”
