Screen Actors Guild president Fran Drescher did not mince her words when she explained why the actors were on strike due to the unilateral business practices imposed by the entertainment industry that financially benefits the CEOs and high-level executives. She argued that the studios’ contracts do not include any relative monetary compensation for the laborers in the industry now that “digital, streaming, and AI” are being used to replace the actors. One person said, “This is an actress using her voice to speak up for the little people. Writers are not getting paid what they are worth. AI is stealing their jobs. The SAG is doing the right thing by speaking up, because without them, the actors are out of the job too. So are the prop masters, makeup artists, stylists, animators, etc. Fran is doing what we wish Doctors would do for nurses, Grocery stores would do for farmworkers, and politicians would do for everyone in this country.” However, on a somber note, ’cause y’all know we love to cut up sometimes, but considering that Hollywood writers, actors, producers, set designers, and all the workers above and below the line, for years, most of you have used your work and talent to blaspheme God/Jesus Christ in your movies and films, influencing the rebellious attitude against Him in today’s culture. You reaped fame and fortune now the same demonic system is exploiting you; sometimes judgment isn’t fire and brimstone from heaven, sometimes its locusts eating your crops.
