*Thursday on CBS’ daytime show “The Talk,” recently appointed Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders weighed in on former teammate and Hall of Famer Ed Reed‘s video comments about the conditions at Bethune-Cookman, where Reed will be coaching.
“It was passion…First of all, we’ve seen Ed over a multitude of years, right? We’ve never seen Ed lose composure or speak out. So, the fact that he did, won’t we ask, what happened here? Because he’s been nothing but a pillar of consistency his whole life.
He added: So, I support him. I love him. Ed, he got it right…They’re going to be wonderful with Ed at the helm.”

“I love what I accomplished at Jackson. I love what we accomplished at Jackson. If it wasn’t for Jackson I probably wouldn’t be at Colorado. But I’m thankful for this time, and this stage, because we about to d something — I want to be the first African American coach to win a darn national championship.”
