As Hot New Hip Hop reports, producer BNYX posted an online clip of Cranston and his “Breaking Bad” co-star Aaron Paul working the bar for the event. The pair have their own alcohol brand, Dos Hombres tequila. The website describes it as a “unique blend of the finest Espadin agave, hand-selected from the hillsides of a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico.”

Cranston explained to E! News that Miami-based restauranteur David Grutman invited him and Paul to serve as bartenders for Drake’s 37th birthday party on Oct. 2nd.

“There’s a great restaurant in Miami run by David Grutman,” Cranston said. “So he called us and said, ‘Drake’s birthday is tomorrow night. Would you guys like to come?’ And we thought, we’re down there in Miami, yes! So we have to do it. So we did. And it was a surprise to Drake. He didn’t know. And he turned the corner, and he saw us, and I said, ‘Sir, can I mix you a drink?’ It was fun. He’s a cool guy. He’s a really fun guy.”

Drake posted a photo of himself with Cranston and Paul on Instagram, which he captioned: “Pinkman, Walter White, and Walter Light…RIP to Mike but when it’s comes to records we breaking bad for sure…I’ll be back with more fuckery and responses to all your love. I’m getting fried tonight though…love you all dearly thank you for awarding me this honour to be a familiar voice in your lives.”

Cranston is famously known for his Emmy-winning portrayal of drug kingpin Walter White in “Breaking Bad,” and Paul played his sidekick Jesse Pinkman.

“Breaking Bad” ran for five seasons and spawned the “Better Call Saul” spin-off series, which wrapped after its six-season run in 2022. A sequel film, “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,” starring Paul, was released on Netflix and in theaters in 2019.

Cranston and Paul reprised their roles earlier this year when they appeared in a Super Bowl commercial for the snack brand PopCorners. They were joined by another iconic character from the show – Tuco Salamanca, played by Raymond Cruz. Check out the minute-long TV spot via YouTube here.

“It’s so easy to kind of zip on that skin again,” Paul told PEOPLE about playing Jesse again. “It’s just like revisiting a very familiar friend.”

“We had so much fun shooting it. Just getting back into those characters and seeing all the familiar faces,” Cranston added. “We fit like a glove,” he said of Paul.
