Biden Launches $25M Ad Campaign Targeting Black Voters | Watch

*As part of its 16-week advertising campaign, the Biden administration will spend $25 million targeting Black and Hispanic voters in key battleground states.

According to CNN, Biden’s target states include Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The ads will focus on the president’s economic policies and will run during NFL Kickoff and the World Series.

Black voters who use platforms such as YouTube Reserve, Hulu, and Connected TV will also be hit hard by Biden’s targeted ads, according to Black Enterprise

The first minute-long ad, titled “Fought Back,” makes reference to former President Donald Trump’s “MAGA agenda.”

Watch the first in a forthcoming series of Biden ads below.

“There are some who say America is failing,” says the narrator in the ad as a picture of Trump flashes across the screen. “Not Joe Biden. He believes our best days are ahead because he believes in the American people.”

The ads aim to highlight the impact of Biden’s legislative accomplishments.

“It was the worst pandemic in 100 years, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. But America fought back,” a narrator says in one ad, per CNN. “Today unemployment is at record lows. Our economy leading the world. Joe Biden passed historic laws to rebuild the country but he knows it’s the American people who are the heroes of this story.”

In the “First Day,” ad, a Black woman narrates the rise of Black business owners and the decrease in Black child poverty.

“On his first day in office with a country in crisis, President Biden got to work. For us,” the narrator says.

“Cutting Black child poverty in half. More money for Black entrepreneurs. Millions of new, good-paying jobs. He’s lowered the cost of living and prescription drugs, but there’s more to do.”

Biden’s ad push will reportedly be the biggest and earliest buy a re-election campaign has ever made in Hispanic and African American media outlets.
