We caught up with Pascale Armand (Eclipsed) and Yolonda Ross (The Chi) to dish about the second season of ALLBLK’s thrilling anthology series “Terror Lake Drive: Single Black Female.”
Created and written by Jerry LaMothe (Blackout) and Kajuana S. Marie, season two follows Deja (Pascale Armand, Eclipsed), a traveling nurse, who recently completed an assignment in Austin, Texas. Much to the dismay of her friends and colleagues, Deja accepts a position at the newly constructed Atlanta University Hospital. Amid her housing quest, she meets an awkwardly shy and eclectic Doula named Shana (Yolonda Ross, The Chi), a nursing student at the university who is seeking a roommate – single Black female preferred. Oblivious to its checkered past, Deja makes herself at home with Shana at Freeman Lake, while unknowingly becoming a target of the latest eerie coincidences to inhabit the troubled apartment complex, per press release.
Arman and Ross co-star alongside Charles Malik Whitfield (Chicago Med), Keith Arthur Bolden (Black Lightning, Cobra Kai), Denise Boutte (Meet the Browns) and Kendrick Cross (Ambitions). With Cynthia Bailey (Real Housewives of ATL) and Reginae Carter (Social Society, Pride & Prejudice ATL) in supporting roles.

Kajuana S. Marie and Jumaane Ford serve as Executive Producers on the series under the LaMothe’s J. LaMothe Entertainment banner. Chris Bongirne, Errol Sadler and Samad Davis are producers, with General Manager, Brett Dismuke, and SVP of Development & Production, Nikki Love, serving as executive producers for ALLBLK, per the news release.
Armand is an award-winning actor whose film and television credits include Chicago Med, Prodigal Son, The Blacklist, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She is a core member of Quick Silver Theater and an alumna of NYU’s Graduate Acting Program.
Ross is also an award-winning performer whose film and television credits include Antwone Fisher, Whatever Works, Lila and Eve Whitney, directed by Angela Bassett for the Lifetime Movie Network, Baz Luhrmann NETFLIX series, The Get Down, How To Get Away With Murder, Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, 24, and Chicago PD. Yolonda is also reprising her role as the caring, no-nonsense single mother, “Jada” in Season 5 of the critically acclaimed SHOWTIME series The Chi.
