Oprah and Gayle Talk George Floyd Protest, Reveals Stedman Was Racially Profiled [WATCH]

*Oprah Winfrey has revealed that her partner Stedman Graham has been racially profiled, just like (most, if not) every other Black man in America.

During a Facebook conversation with her bestie Gayle King on Sunday, Winfrey said, “A lot of white people don’t understand what they’re seeing … but when you feel invisible and unheard, it sends the message that you don’t matter. I do not know a Black man period who has not been profiled, including Stedman Graham.”

As noted by Page Six, Winfrey didn’t go into specifics about her longtime bae, but her comment was in response to King explaining that she and her family have been following media reports about George Floyd’s death and the subsequent protests.

“We’ve been up since 4 [a.m.], me, [my daughter] Kirby, and [my son] Will … I literally could not sleep because I’m watching it,” King said. “All of us feel so haunted and unsettled by it. I can’t stop thinking about the looting, about George Floyd, the expression on that cop’s face when he had his knee on his neck, and he’s so comfortable … he had his hands in his pocket! That’s the universal sign of ‘I am really chillin’ here.”

“Thank God for the video tape,” she added. “Racism isn’t better. It still exists, it’s just now on video.”

In related news, Beyoncé posted a video of herself urging her fans to sign the petitions that are circulating social media seeking justice for George.

“We need justice for George Floyd. We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We are broken and we are disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain,” Beyoncé said.
