Dr. Umar Johnson Links Kobe Bryant’s Death to Big Pharma Conspiracy

*Psychologist Dr. Umar Johnson has sparked debate on social media after linking Kobe Bryant’s death to a wild conspiracy theory.

Bryant, 41, and his daughter Gianna, 13, were reportedly on their way to a youth basketball game when the helicopter they were on crashed into a hill. The two died alongside pilot Ara Zobayan, and parents and players from the Mamba Sports Academy girls’ team: Sarah and Payton Chester, Christina Mauser, John Altobelli, his wife Keri Altobelli and their daughter, Alyssa Altobelli.

“They did not crash because of the fog–that was an expert pilot. Kobe was sabotaged,” Johnson explained during a live broadcast. “Not to mention, Kobe Bryant was engaged in a legal battle with a big pharmaceutical company over the use of the name, ‘Black Mamba.’ “

He then suggested the helicopter was crashed on purpose due to conflict surrounding that legal battle.

“You understand me? Radar can see through the fog, thank you system. Radar can see through the fog. They didn’t crash because of no damn fog and it wasn’t no wind. The propeller was sabotaged,” he went on saying.

After repeatedly noting Bryant’s pharmaceutical battle, Johnson mentioned that the unnamed company is “very powerful.” But according to several reports, the said company sells a gas station brand of pills, which makes Johnson’s theory absurd to many people.

“Umar Johnson is saying that Kobe Bryant was murdered by ‘them’. Probably the same ‘them’ that got Bill Cosby out of here because he was about to buy NBC. This s**t is goofy and I’m annoyed,” one fan wrote on Twitter, via Ace Showbiz.

“It’s 2020. Keep Dr Umar Johnson off my TL. I don’t want to hear conspiracy theory about the death of Kobe. I dont want to hear anything that comes out of his mouth,” another wrote.

Meanwhile, one critic called Dr. Johnson “a fraud,” adding, “he is only using kobe’s name for donating to his school #f**kumar.” Another comment read, “Umar Johnson said Kobe Bryant’s death was no accident and he was killed because he was in a battle with a pharmaceutical company over the name ‘Black Mamba.’ I hate it here and everyone who gave him a voice.”

The National Transportation Safety Board investigation into the crash continues, with a preliminary report expected next week. Johnson believes “If this gets blamed on fog then it was definitely murder.”
