*Depending on who you ask, Celine Dion was either genuinely moved or trying hard to be nice while a fan sang to her through a car window.
The Canadian icon was in NYC Wednesday being chauffeured away from the Four Seasons when a fan stood outside the window of her car and started belted Dion’s 2002 song “I Surrender.”
Based on one edited clip of the encounter that went viral today, Dion looked like she was trying to suppress all kinds of impatience and mortification, as the young woman struggled to hit some notes.

But the entire clip, which was shared on the aspiring singer’s now-unavailable Instagram page, shows that Dion actually stopped her driver from pulling away while the girl was singing. Then, despite coronavirus fears, dion gives her a fist bump and says, “Thank you so much for that.”
