Antonio Brown’s Agent Terminates Relationship Until Embattled Wide Receiver ‘Seeks Counseling’

*Antonio Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus is cutting ties with him until the free-agent wide receiver seeks counseling.

Additionally, attorney Darren Heitner has removed himself as counsel for Brown in a 2018 landlord/tenant lawsuit involving the athlete throwing furniture off a balcony in a Florida luxury apartment complex.

In recent days, the Hollywood Police have also ‘severed ties’ with Brown following an explicit outburst toward police.

Brown recently posted a live feed of an obscene rant toward the mother of his children and the officers who responded to a domestic disturbance at his home. Shortly after the clip was posted, the Police Athletic League cut ties with Brown and announced plans to return his donation.

An NFL Players Association source spilled the tea about Rosenhaus to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“Agent Drew Rosenhaus conditionally terminated his relationship with Antonio Brown today until the free-agent WR seeks counsel, per an NFLPA source. Rosenhaus wrote in the letter that the NFLPA received today that he would like to work with Brown, but not until he first gets help,” Schefter wrote on Twitter.

According to NFLPA rules, terminations between agents and athlete clients don’t become official until after a five-day waiting period.

Brown signed with the Patriots Sept. 9, before being released nearly two weeks later amid sexual assault allegations made against him in a civil lawsuit. He has not been charged with a crime and has denied the accusations.

He had a workout for the New Orleans Saints in December, but was not signed.

Brown is currently under investigation by the NFL as part of the sexual assault case.
