*A white police officer in South Carolina said the n-word twice while angrily accusing a Black man of calling him the racial slur.

In the video shared by TMZ, Sgt. Chad Walker is seen mid-tirade against a group of patrons outside a bar Saturday night. One man called him out for the way he was treating some of the people of color … specifically, the Black guy he claims called him the n-word.

Walker questioned which “people of color,” then pointed to the Black man and asked, “The gentleman right there that called me a n**ger?” After stunned silence, he repeated, “That guy? Who called me a n**ger?”

The crowd then responds that he shouldn’t use that word. Walker, apparently seeing it as a double standard, questions loudly, “I can’t use it?”

Watch below:

Sgt. Walker’s been suspended by the Columbia PD and its Chief has apologized, saying the officer failed to fulfill the standards of the department.

The Chief added … “The repetition of the racial slur and failure to de-escalate the situation were inexcusable.” Sgt. Walker will remain on suspension until the department concludes his disciplinary conduct review.

TMZ reported:

The full body cam footage shows Sgt. Chad in the bar, ordering a few patrons to put their drinks down and leave or face arrest … while enforcing the governor’s order to stop serving alcohol at 11 PM amid the coronavirus pandemic. As one table leaves, the cop accuses the Black man in the video of being “colorblind” for directing the n-word at him, though it’s not clear that he did.
