*”Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” star Mimi Faust is engaged to former WNBA player Tamera “Ty” Young.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram Saturday, along with a photo of Faust’s diamond engagement ring. Young has “She said yesII” written in cursive across her palm.
Young dedicated a post celebrating the exciting news to “my beautiful and fine loving fiancé.”
“I’ve been trying to surprise her since August 2019,” Young wrote next to a photo of her embracing Faust. “From ring complications with the first designer and more; we’re finally HERE!!!”
Young said MiMi’s 14-karat white gold ring design, which features 191 hand-set diamonds, is “exactly as I asked.”

The couple have been dating since 2016.
While Faust is happy in her same-sex relationship, she made clear back in 2016 that she’s not gay.
“I wouldn’t necessarily say that I’m gay,” Faust explained to Page Six. “I like people — I like personalities and I’m attracted to who I’m attracted to. What would you call that?”
She previously announced her romance with a woman named Chris Gould in an episode of “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta,” and almost immediately received backlash from her baby daddy, Stevie J, Page Six reported.
At the time, Stevie said he did not want his daughter raised in a lesbian home.
Gould later came out as a transgender man, and he and MiMi ended their relationship after dating less than a year.
