*Dr. Dre has filed a response to his estranged wife’s divorce petition.

Nicole Young, 50, filed for divorce last month after 24 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple married on May 25, 1996 and share two adult children, son Truice, 23, and 19-year-old daughter Truly.

Dre also has four children from previous relationships. His son Andre Young Jr. died at age 20 in 2008.

Nicole was previously married to NBA player Sedale Threatt.

In his response, Dre revealed that the couple have a prenuptial agreement that he wants enforced.

Young is asking for spousal support and a division of property, PEOPLE reports.

Dre has no issue paying spousal support, but any distribution of property should be controlled by the prenup.

According to TMZ,  Dre listed the date of their separation as March 27, 2020, and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

Young’s petition makes no mention of a prenup, and it was previously reported that she claimed she never signed one.

Dre’s net worth is reportedly $800 million, thanks mostly to his Beats Electronics empire.

He recently made news after he, Kanye West and Snoop Dogg were seen in the studio together allegedly working on another version of Ye’s “Jesus is King” album.

Meanwhile, the music mogul took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of himself taking a knee with former NFL player Colin Kaepernick (see IG embed above).
