*The OWN network’s virtual series “Girlfriends Check In” returns this Saturday with new episodes featuring some of your favorite female comedians, female rappers, and a special episode featuring the legendary Clark Sisters.
According to Urban Hollywood 411, the series centers on female celebrities and their real-life friends dishing about love, life, gossip and more.
The show focuses on women supporting women through virtual check ins, exchanging virtual gifts, showcasing at-home fitness routines, and sharing beauty tips, the report says.

In each episode of the series a different group of four female friends spanning from music, sports and entertainment will hold a virtual chat room check in where anything can happen. Viewers will be invited into their favorite celebrities’ home like never before with a chance to listen in on important conversations during a time in our nation when girlfriends are needed the most. The girlfriends sip tea and talk tea, exchange gifts (virtually), showcase at-home fitness routines, beauty and hair tips and even play fun games to debunk past and present hearsays.

- The Power Players:
- Naturi Naughton, LaLa Anthony, Bresha Webb and her friend on the pandemic frontlines Melissa Folkes
- Ladies Who Make Us Laugh Out Loud:
- Kym Whitley, Wendy Robinson, Luenell Campbell, Jess Hilarious
- OWN’s breakout reality stars from “LOVE & MARRIAGE: HUNTSVILLE”:
- Melody Holt, LaTisha Scott, Kimmi Scott, Destiny Payton-Williams
More names will be announced in the future.
