*After the non-profit No Kids Hungry rejected Tekashi 6ix9ine $200,000 donation, another L.A.-based organization said they will gladly accept them money.

Keith Johnson, Executive Director of Kooking 4 Kids, tells TMZ that the rapper’s criminal past shouldn’t matter, as previous reports claim No Kid Hungry said, “As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”

“If there is an individual that wants to help address hunger in Los Angeles, we welcome it. How that person wants to live their life is for them to decide,” said Johnson.

Following his release from prison last week, the Brooklyn rapper attempted to pay it forward by helping needy kids, so he offered $200K to No Kid Hungry, a non-profit that works to end child hunger around the world.

“During this pandemic I understand we have nurses and frontline Hero’s who risk there [sic] life daily to save others. But NEVER forget the children & families who depend on OUR PUBLIC schools for daily meals and nutritions to keep our future leaders growing to their best potential,” 6ix9ine wrote on Instagram at the time he made the donation. “To every influencer out there REMEMBER if you are blessed GOD gave you that blessing not just for YOU but also TO HELP OTHERS GOD FIRST.”

But after his generous donation was rejected, Tekashi took to Twitter to fire back: “@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children I never seen something so cruel,” he wrote in a since-deleted post.

In a statement obtained by TMZ on Tuesday (May 12), a No Kid Hungry spokesperson explained the decision to refuse his donation.

“We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation,” the statement read. “As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”

Johnson says wants the hip-hop star to know that K4K travels to throughout L.A. weekly and serves 1,600-1,800 free meals daily to needy families  … and they always run out.
