How to Train Like Black Panther’s Killmonger

*Yes, yes we know that actor Michael B. Jordan had the help of a celebrity trainer Cory Calliet. In reality, it’s your approach to working out that counts. Hiring a trainer is just like hiring motivation. All YOU need is the right fitness knowledge, and this can play out to be the only motivation you need.

Here’s how you can accomplish your individual body goals and train like Black Panther’s Killmonger.

Day 1: Chest, Triceps, Shoulders

Start with a warm-up. You can choose to perform about 5 to 10 minutes of jump roping or maybe even jog a mile. After this, you need to pull off 4 sets of the Incline Dumbbell Bench Press. Then, follow it up with 3 sets of the Dumbbell Fly.

Next up, you need 4 sets at the Shoulder Press Machine, 3 sets of the Lateral Raise, and 3 sets of the Dumbbell Shrug. Finish the day off with 3 sets of weighted Dips and 2 final sets of the Skullcrusher.

Day 2: Core and Legs

While you’re still sore from Day 1, you need to warm up again and then dive right into the Barbell Squat for 4 sets. Follow this up with 3 sets on the Leg Press and 3 sets of a Leg Curl. Once you’re done panting, you can move on over to 3 sets of the Leg Extension and 3 sets of the Standing Machine Calf Raise.

Now, you can let your body relax with 3 sets of the Seated Calf Raise, before planking for about 30 seconds between each set. Lastly, you can do 3 sets each for both the Decline Sit Up and the Hanging Leg Raise.

Day 3: Back and Biceps

If you haven’t skipped your 3rd day at the gym, you can start working out with 4 sets of the Lat Pull Down and 4 sets of the T-Bar Row. Next, you need to pull off 3 sets of weighted pull-ups, 3 sets of the Underhand Barbell Row, and 3 sets of the Hyperextension. Finally, you can give your body a break after pulling off 3 sets of the Barbell Curl and the Hammer Curl.

While this was just a 3-day workout plan, Cory Calliet had the future Killmonger mix and match these exercises on the remaining days with just one day for rest, which also ended up with a few abs exercises.
