THE REAL Hosts Talk All Things Holidays: Cards, Parties, Drinking And Nostalgia! – WATCH

*On Friday, Dec. 20, the hosts of “The Real” celebrate Fri-Yay and talk about the tradition of holiday cards in which Jeannie Mai learns that her co-hosts do not read the ones that she sends them every year.

Also, co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley lets everyone in on the theme she has planned for her family’s annual holiday photo.

Then, the ladies discuss what Christmas is like in their households. While Tamera reveals that her house is quite the party, co-host Adrienne Houghton sends out a warning to anyone who is brave enough to pass out around her family members!

And, after co-host Loni Love is accused of occasionally getting teary when she imbibes in spirited libations, she demonstrates how she doesn’t need brown liquor to get emotional from the nostalgia of the holidays.

Loni Doesn’t Need Brown Liquor To Get Mushy About The Nostalgia Of The Holidays

Jeannie Mai: Somebody we know is a crying drunk.

(Jeannie & Tamera Mowry-Housley point to the opposite side of the table. The Real audience laughs.)

Loni Love: Talkin’ ‘bout me?

Jeannie (Points to Adrienne Houghton): No. Her!

Adrienne Houghton: We are! We both are!

Tamera Mowry-Housley (To Adrienne): You?

Jeannie: Oh yeah. Loni, yeah you!

Tamera: Yes, Loni.

Adrienne: We both are!

Jeannie: Keep it real!

Adrienne: Me and Loni will get emotional together. We be on this side of the table like (pretending to cry), “I love you. I love you, too. You be looking out for me. I be looking out for you.” Like, we be feeling it.

Jeannie: Yes, it’s true.

Tamera: Loni, I think you’ve- I think you’ve been all of them at one point.

(The Real hosts and audience laugh)

Adrienne: That’s how she knows.

Loni Love: What is happening?

Tamera: ‘Cause she likes that brown liquor, that’s why.

(Loni laughs)

Tamera: That turn-up is completely different when you drink hard core.

(EDIT)

Loni: This is the reason why we have holidays. It’s a time for us to get together…

Adrienne: Families.

Loni: Ya know. (Begins to tear up)

Jeannie: And translation traditions in your own way.

Tamera (to Loni): Aw, are you getting emotional?  Why are you getting emotional?

Adrienne: I like that.

Jeannie: Why are you getting emotional?

(The Real audience applauds)

Tamera: It’s bringing you back?

Loni: When you think about what this country has been through and we’ve come to- this is almost the end of a decade.

Tamera: Yeah.

Adrienne: Yeah.

Loni: (Crying) We have to get together as a country. So, when you see these type of movies, it can bring you together as a family. It can show you what’s really important. What life is important- about. So, all this other stuff that we’re doing, the noise and everything, it’s nice to just spend the night with your family and remember when time was a little more different, a little more pure. And I’m not even drinking, so that tells you.
