Sherri Shepherd Confirms Tea Spilled in ‘View’ Tell-All [WATCH]

*Sherri Shepherd, who co-hosted “The View” from 2007-2014, has shared her candid thoughts on the controversial tell-all book about the award-winning talk show that was released in April.

The actress/comedian appeared on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” on Sunday and was asked a series of questions about some of the tea that is spilled in the book.

Shepherd said she didn’t read Ramin Setoodeh’s “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View” because she already “lived it

From there, Cohen first asked about Elisabeth Hasselbeck threatening to quit during a commercial break after taking issue with how Barbara Walters treated her during an on-air debate.

“I was there,” recalled Sherri. “Elisabeth was going to walk off, I was like, ‘Boy y’all white people are something else. You’re gonna leave a job?'”

She then addressed Rosie O’Donnell saying Whoopi Goldberg was mean to her during their time together. Shepherd noted that Goldberg was “like an auntie” to her.

“She’s hard on you, but when she’s hard on you, she expects a lot,” she added. When asked if she witnessed Barbara being hard on Rosie, Sherri said, “I never saw Rosie and Whoopi together.”

When asked about Rosie’s confession she had “a little bit of a crush” on Elisabeth, Shepherd, who’s still good friends with Hasselbeck, said, “You know, if Rosie got a crush on you, heyyyyy!”

She also acknowledged Jenny McCarthy’s comments that Walters criticized her repeatedly over her choice of wardrobe.

“Yeah, I do remember one time Jenny had an outfit on and Barbara wanted the same outfit,” Shepherd said. “Like, she wanted to wear the same outfit that Jenny had on. That’s not a compliment when you’re 19, and it’s 80.”

Cohen then recalls his co-hosting stint on “The View” and how Walters was critical of him, but McCarthy and Shepherd had his back. He concluded by asking about Rosie yelling at Barbara for not defending her during her public battle with Donald Trump.

“That was bad,” recalled Sherri. “You can’t get in Barbra Walters face. She’s up there with Jesus!”
