*In Ireland, the father of a 7-year-old boy named Sean got video he will never forget and but for real thick glass, he almost saw little Sean get eaten.
Yep, little Sean, quite frankly, would’ve been a goner had it not been for the glass separating him and the deadly claws and fangs/teeth of a Siberian tiger that lunged at him Sunday at a zoo in Ireland. A clip of the adrenaline-pounding moment is now going viral on social media.
The video — recorded by Sean’s father, Rob, who asked that their last name be withheld — shows the smiling youngster posing for the camera in front of the tiger enclosure at the Dublin Zoo.
Sean and his father were visiting The Dublin Zoo and stopped for a quick pic with the beautiful, but ferocious, animal. In the video, you can see the tiger slowly start to creep — then stop when the boy turns around — and lunge into a full sprint when the boy looks away again.
The tiger is stopped by the glass before it can get to the boy, desperately pawing for a piece, before finally giving up and searching for its next meal.
Lucky for dad, his son’s got nerves of steel and plays the whole thing off fairly well.
