It’s THE REAL’s Holiday Show AND a Visit From Kristin Chenoweth!

*On Monday, Dec. 16, it’s “The Real’s” Holiday Show!  In addition to an episode filled with exciting audience giveaways, the co-hosts voice opinions regarding providing family and friends lists of preferred presents.

It turns out co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley enjoys giving thoughtful presents, contemplated throughout the year, and yet she is unable to remember gifts she has received from the other ladies! And as the co-hosts list the top three items on their own wish lists, they receive an entertaining gift from above that is bigger than expected!

Then, co-host Jeannie Mai admits that she is addicted to her phone and has been guilty of texting and driving in the past. She reveals the surprisingly permanent way that she rectified her dangerous habit!

Later, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth stops by to talk about her appearance on the PBS special Christmas with the Tabernacle Choir, the joy she feels when performing at bar & bat mitzvahs, and what she thinks about Kanye West’s new religious journey.

Jeannie Has Chosen Texting Over Driving

Adrienne Houghton: I wanted to ask you, Jeannie…

Jeannie Mai: Yeah.

Adrienne: Because I know you said you felt tempted by, like, texting or having to respond to emails. And you actually sold your car.

Jeannie: Yes.

Adrienne: Are you still- are you still not driving?

Jeannie: Legit? I was more than just tempted. I, legit, was a chronic texter and driver. Like, bad. I saw somebody in the audience say “Me, too”. Thank you, sis, for making me feel better.

Adrienne: Keep it real.

Jeannie: It was so bad, though, because… I could literally, like, like, sit there and scroll while I’m texting, or while I’m driving. And it would be more than just stop lights. It would be in traffic.

Adrienne: So dangerous.

Jeannie: I did it so bad that one time I swerved and I felt my wheel go into the dirt on the side of the mountain….

Loni Love: Uh oh.

Adrienne: Keep it real!

Jeannie: And I literally, the next day, called all of my family members and was like, “Who wants a car? Get- take my car away from me”,  ‘cause I can’t do it and I cannot physically stop myself from texting and driving. I’m addicted to it. So, I gave my car- and now I don’t drive and text ‘cause I’m a backseat passenger. (Gives a thumbs up.)

(The Real audience applauds)

Adrienne: And you Uber now!

Tamera Mowry-Housley: You’re being responsible.

Adrienne: I’m sorry, I respect that so much!
