Nicki Minaj Appears to Have Married Her Felon Bae Kenny Petty

*It looks like Nicki Minaj and her felon bae Kenneth Petty have tied the knot, according to the rapper’s latest IG post.

Nicki captioned the post with a series of emojis along with the date that suggests when they wed: October 21, 2019. Peep the IG video below.

Last month, Nicki sent out a tweet that read: “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box – cuz ain’t nobody checkin me.”

After her fans expressed their heartbreak over the announcement, Minaj deleted the post, explaining: “I didn’t know my fans were going to act like that,” she said. “It hurt my feelings because I feel like the way I did it might have been insensitive to my fans… I didn’t know that it was going to be that big of a deal. That’s why I deleted it.”

Minaj previously explained in an interview with The Shade Room that she’s always dreamed of a fairytale wedding.

“You know when you’re a little girl and you want this big beautiful wedding, and I used to think I was one of those girls, I always wanted the fairytale,” Nicki previously said in an interview with The Shade Room (see the IG post below). “But then the things that used to matter to you don’t matter as much… I’m madly in love with this man, he’s also my best friend, the things that used to matter to me before, don’t matter as much now. So yes, we’re going to have a big wedding eventually.”

In July, E! News reported that Minaj and Petty officially obtained a marriage license from the Beverly Hills courthouse.

When Minaj announced that she was dating Petty in Dec. of 2018, fans reacted with a wave of criticism because he served time in prison for manslaughter and is a registered sex offender in New York.
