*Showtime is turning 6ix9ine’s story into a three-part miniseries titled “SuperVillain,” which will be produced by Rolling Stone and based on the magazine’s feature ““Tekashi 6ix9ine: The Rise and Fall of a Hip-Hop Supervillain.”

“Tekashi 6ix9ine’s story fits into Rolling Stone’s history of epic narratives about the most important and controversial artists of our times,” Rolling Stone president Gus Wenner said. “We are thrilled to work with Showtime, Imagine and Lightbox on the definitive docuseries of Tekashi’s meteoric rise and spectacular fall.”

The series will follow the sudden rise and massive success of the rapper and the hoodrat sh*t that ultimately landed him in prison.

“The bizarre and complicated rise of Tekashi 6ix9ine is a story of our times,” Showtime EVP of nonfiction programming Vinnie Malhotra said. “Beyond becoming one of the most notorious hip hop artists of this generation, his story speaks volumes of the impact of social media and manufactured celebrity in our society. We’re thrilled to be partnering with such heavy hitters in the world of music and documentary to bring SuperVillain to life.”

News of the docuseries follows reports that Tekashi and his record label 10K Projects have inked a deal on a new record contract for two new albums once he gets out of prison – and it’s reportedly worth more than $10 million.

The rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, is currently awaiting sentencing on racketeering and firearms charges. As part of his plea deal, 69’s sentencing date has been up from January to Dec. 18. He was facing 47 years behind bars on a slew of charges for his involvement in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is also set to be the subject of a Snapchat documentary.
