the real crew - table

*On Wednesday, July 10, the hosts of The Real discuss how they deal with loved ones in their lives who have made life choices they don’t agree with. They also confess what drives them to spend extra time in the bathroom that doesn’t involve traditional purposes.

The ladies then discuss what bothers them about others posting unfiltered photos of them on social media while co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley shares why she has certain personal photo preferences. Also, how much money would it take for co-host Loni Love to break a friend’s bone as a favor?  You’ll be surprised to learn the amount!

Adrienne Houghton: So ladies, do you freak out when your friends don’t filter you?

Jeannie Mai: Yes!

Adrienne: For me, it’s not about a filter.  Just catch me at the right angles, yo!

(The Real audience applauds)

Adrienne: How about I am not like this (Makes a silly face)?  Like, that is not the look!  Like, that’s not how I look! It’s not about a filter. Just make sure my… ya know?

Tamera Mowry-Housley: You know what I really hate?

Jeannie: What?

Tamera: Is when they’re the only ones that look good in the picture.

Adrienne: Yes!

Tamera: Then I look at them side-eye.

Adrienne: And you’re like this (Makes another silly face)! You’re cockeyed in the photo and they’re like (makes a glamorous pose). Or that they only edit themselves and don’t edit you! How are you gonna bring in your waistline and not bring in mine?

Tamera: I have to give you props, A. Because every single time you edit a picture, she actually edits everybody.

Loni Love: She will edit everybody.

Adrienne: Sure do.  I edit the background. I edit you. I edit your man. I smooth out a forehead. Yes!

Loni: Now Tamera, you gotta get a photo release signed, you know, in order to post her picture.  She will be pissed off.

Tamera: Okay, you guys, I’ll tell you why.  ‘Cause mainly… Well, I’ve never told people this because I just found out.  The thing is that people always think I’m pregnant in a photo, usually.  I always, I mean I don’t care if I have grey hair or maybe a chipped nail or nail polish. I don’t care about that kind of stuff.

Adrienne:  Or if you don’t’ have makeup.  You post yourself without makeup all the time.

Tamera: All the time!  And with my grey hair.  It’s just when my belly looks a little bit bigger, I don’t want the picture to become about, “Oh my God, is Tamera pregnant?” The reality is, you guys, I have diastasis recti. Which is when your abs actually split from having multiple babies or have big babies…

Jeannie: Damn!

Tamera: Yeah! That’s the thing!  You still have the mommy pooch.  And, you know, you can’t…

Adrienne: It’s hard to get them back together.

Tamera: And I’m trying, y’all! I mean, come on. Give me a break!
