‘Married to Medicine LA’ Cast Talk Drama and 1st Season Expectations (EUR Exclusive!)

*Bravo, the home of “The Real Housewives” franchise has started a new franchise with the women of “Married to Medicine.”  The popular show, which is set in Atlanta, is now headed to Hollywood.

“Married to Medicine LA” premieres this Sunday, March 10, and from the trailer it looks like they will not disappoint when it comes to the drama.

Similar to Atlanta there is a mix of doctors and doctors’ wives, also like the ladies of Atlanta they will definitely bring the drama. So, we asked two cast members of new LA squad, Dr. Imani Walker and Shanique Drummond, if they had concerns about the drama and how they could be portrayed on TV.

“I think we did initially, we all did initially. What was great about the team we worked with at Bravo, (was that) we just felt like we were able to be ourselves. Which is a good and bad things,” said Drummond.

A good and bad thing? We know what that means, drama!

These ladies aren’t holding anything back, we will see their fights as friends and the issues and conflicts they go through personally and as a group. If you haven’t seen the trailer you need to check it out.

We see Dr. Walker trying not to lose it on a castmate and we see Shanique getting into a messy situation with fellow castmate Asha Kamali-Blankinship.

“We’re both Jamaican women we’re very passionate, so that’s going to come through,” Says Dr. Walker. “With us we’re very passionate about who we are, and our beliefs and I think the second that you try to tamper with that it becomes an issue.”

Whew chile! These are two friends I wouldn’t want to come in between. These ladies have me excited about what to expect on this season of “Married To Medicine LA” and I’m intrigued to see how all these ladies interact with each one another.

Other castmates include Dr. Noelle Reid, Dr. Britten Cole and friend Jazmine Johnson. Don’t miss the season premiere airing Sunday March 10^th at 9/8c.
