*On Monday, Feb. 11, The Real recaps last night’s Grammy Awards, and co-host Loni Love has some strong feelings about the Motown Tribute during the ceremony and whether it was actually reflective of Motown. Then co-host Adrienne Houghton reveals that she has changed her mind about advice she once gave about sending sexy pictures!

Later, writer, producer and actor Lena Waithe stops by to talk about her new BET show Boomerang. She shares some details about plans for her upcoming wedding, and her feelings that we are currently in the new “Black Renaissance.”

And actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar visits to talk about his show The Passage, and plays “Celeb in 60” with the ladies, where he reveals who the best kisser was on Saved By The Bell – it’s not who you might think!

Tamera Mowry-Housley: I’m a fan, and obviously Beyoncé is as well, because she included you in her “We Good” collage, recognizing Black men and women who are doing amazing work in the community.

Lena Waithe: That was fantastic.

[The Real audience applauds]

Tamera: Yeah, I think that’s amazing.

Jeannie Mai: So cool.

Loni Love: So cool.

Jeannie: Look at that.

Lena: I know!

Tamera: That’s awesome!

Lena: Good placement!

Tamera: Have you met Beyoncé before? And what does that mean to you?

Lena; Here’s the funny thing – we been at parties together, but I was like – didn’t want to go up and like interrupt, ‘cause I know that move, but obviously I went to a concert, she did the salute, we made eye contact… We have not done the handshake, “What’s up, nice to make your acquaintance.” But I heard about it – that’s a – whenever Beyoncé posts something or anything like, people hit you about it, so I heard about it before I actually got to see it. But I was just really grateful and really humbled by that. I think we’re in a really amazing time – it’s the New Black Renaissance.

[The Real audience applauds]

Lena: So the fact that she did that was really amazing and special, and the truth is Black History is no longer just Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. It’s Donald Glover, it’s Issa Rae, it’s Beyoncé. I’m glad we can recognize that. We’re making Black History every day of the month.
