b2k - the real

*On Monday, Feb. 4, the hosts of The Real discuss whether Maroon 5 should have made more of a statement when they performed at the Super Bowl halftime show yesterday. Also, was Twitter too harsh on Demi Lovato when she commented about 21 Savage memes? And co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley reminds everyone that it’s the quiet ones you gotta watch out for when it comes to oversharing!

And then beloved R&B boy band B2K is on The Real to talk about reuniting for The Millennium Tour!  Omarion, Raz B, Boog, and Fizz sit with the ladies to discuss why the group is getting back together, what fans can expect from the tour, how they’ve changed in the past 15 years – and whether co-host Adrienne Houghton will be joining them onstage!

Should Maroon 5 Have Made More Of A Statement In The Halftime Show?

You Gotta Watch Out For the Quiet Ones, According to Tamera!

Raz B: It’s a great, great lineup.

Omarion: Yeah, we was hoping that you would come.

Adrienne Houghton: Wait, what?

Raz B: I just gave her tickets!

Omarion: Wait, wait, wait – well, first of all, let me tell y’all all the real – this is our very great old friend…

J-Boog: Yes, very close.

Omarion: We came up.

Adrienne: We came up together.

Adrienne: It’s so good to see you guys! I’m like – on the commercial break…

Fizz: They were a big inspiration for us! You remember the box? We used to order y’all video on the box?

Raz B: We used to do it all the time. We used to pick which one. I was like, “I got that one.”

[All laugh]

Adrienne: Literally, people don’t know that 3LW and B2K grew up together, like we would hang out with each other…

Raz B: Yeah, all the time.

Adrienne: It was good times then.

Raz B: They were very, they were very instrumental.

Loni Love: So see? You should join, with…

[The Real audience applauds]

Omarion: Come to the show!

J-Boog: I got it! I got it!

Adrienne: I’m gonna come to the show! I will absolutely be at the show.

J-Boog: 32K!

Raz B: 32K.

Omarion: 32K!

Adrienne: All right! I’m here for it.

[EDIT]

Loni: I mean what is it that you want the fans to know to sell this tour, what, anything?

Adrienne: It’s already sold out, but keep selling!

Omarion: Well, well, well, I think that I think that it’s important that, you know, we recognize the importance of culture and coming back together and really, what it means to have true fans. You know, it’s been so long, and it’s so dope that we’re all more mature now, and I’m so excited for people to have this experience because I think it’s a maturation…

[The Real audience applauds]

Omarion: It’s not a go – a go back. We’re not, we’re not just going to sing old hits. We’re providing the energy, a mood, a moment in life. And it’s gonna be exciting.

Loni: You’re so sexy, you know that?
