*Former Utah State University football player Torrey Green has been convicted of raping multiple women while attending the school, PEOPLE reported.
On Friday, a jury found the 25-year-old guilty of five counts of rape, one count of object rape, one count of forcible sexual abuse and one count of misdemeanor sexual battery, according to the Salt Lake City Tribune, Deseret News and Harold Journal.
Green was accused of sexually assaulting six women while a student at the university from 2013 to 2015.

“There were convictions for all six of these survivors,” Deputy Cache County Attorney Spencer Walsh said following the news. “We’re very happy about that. They were believed.”
Several of the victims said they went home with Green willingly before he attacked them. All six women testified during trial, describing how he sexually assaulted them despite their objections.
During his testimony, Green said the women were scorned lovers and that the sex was consensual.
“I wish I didn’t break their hearts,” Green said, the Tribune reports. “I could have done a better job of telling them and letting them know I didn’t want to be in a lasting relationship. I’m sorry for that.”
Green’s sentencing is set for March 27.
One unidentified juror described the 16-hour deliberation as “grueling.”
“I hope this is a learning experience for everyone involved,” Walsh said outside the courthouse, the Journal reports. “That means citizens, friends, family members, law enforcement, prosecutors, everyone—we have got to do a better job of taking these sexual assault cases very seriously…start by believing, then do a competent, thorough investigation.”
