*Finally! It’s the news we’ve been holding our collective breaths for (actually, we haven’t) and now it’s here. Wedding bells are about to chiming for Toni Braxton and Birdman.
Of course rumors of their engagement between Braxton 50, and Birdman (Bryan Williams), 49, began swirling weeks ago when Madame Braxton was spotted wearing what looked like an engagement ring. No need to guess or wonder anymore, because on Monday, Toni cconfirmed the news via Facebook.
Along with sharing a new teaser for her WE tv reality series “Braxton Family Values,” Toni is seen sharing the exciting news with her loved ones.
“I have an announcement to make,” she teased her excited family. “I’m engaged!”
The news is received well by Toni’s sisters, especially Tamar. The soon-to-be Mrs. Birdman also gives fans a look at her new, enormous engagement ring.

Braxton and Birdman (whose full real name is Bryan Christopher Williams), began dating in May 2016 and made their first public appearance together at the BET Awards later that year. Braxton was previously married to musician Keri Lewis for 12 years. The couple, who divorced in 2013, share two sons — Denim, 16, and Diezel, 14.
Last year, Braxton admitted that she was “anxious” over her burgeoning relationship with the rapper during an episode of her reality show.
“I haven’t been happy in a long time outside of work. Work brings me extreme happiness. When I’m on stage and I’m performing, that’s the only time that I get those butterflies and I feel totally happy with my life,” she shared. “A romantic relationship? I haven’t had time for that — I should say, I chose not to make time for it, but it’s right here in front of my face: happiness.”

“I dont know how I feel about this to be honest. I guess I wish them well and I dont mean to sound judgmental, but I always thought Toni had more class than that. And shes like 50 now. She doesn’t even look it, Its just I never expected her to be in a relationship with a tatted up rapper. This isn’t the first time she was in a relationship with someone from the music industry though. Her first husband and children’s father is Keri Lewis who was in the 90s R&B band Mint condition, so I expected her to be with someone more like a “Keri” or “Babyface” type who’s more mellow like she is, not someone like Birdman. Congrats I guess.”
