*Iconic Los Angeles based restaurant Roscoe’s House of Chicken N’ Waffles took over Coachella Valley for the first time ever. The Roscoe’s After Dark (RAD) Pop- Up restaurant took place weekend 1 at Spotlight 29 Casino, one of the most popular casinos in Coachella Valley. Produced by Los Angeles based marketing and event experts, 20Young, this event was for sure a festival favorite.
The Roscoe’s After Dark neon light was officially lit on Friday, April 13 at 8 pm and the much anticipated pop-up restaurant was open for business. Meanwhile, festival-goers started lining up to receive their wristbands for the intimate VIP exclusive event starting at 11 pm both nights and went until the wee hours of the morning.
The VIP experience was an invite-only event serving Libre Tequila mixed cocktails like the Spa Water https://www.librespirits.com/, Roscoe’s custom menu featuring the Bey-gan (inspired by Beyonce, powered by the Bey Hive), and the unveiling of the Coachella special – a soft waffle cone with succulent strips of crispy chicken! Festival-goers partied to sounds by DJ Snoopadelic/Snoop Dogg (headlining Friday) and DJ Esco (headlining Saturday). Partnering with Merry Jane Media and Uber Eats, guests were able to order these options through the app with delivery! In addition to the indoor event space, the Casino introduced Village 29 https://www.village29.com where pop-up lodging was provided for festival goers.
The outdoor space included modern, sleek pop-up crash pads, RV rentals, and safari glamping tents, for a Festival style staycation! RAD was definitely one for the “Coachella Bests” memorable events and fans are already anticipating when the RAD neon sign will be lite again.
