LeBron James Sells ‘Untitled’ Comedy Pitch to Paramount

*NBA superstar LeBron James is expanding his presence in Hollywood.

According to Variety, James and writer Steve Mallory have sold a comedy pitch to Paramount, and King James is reportedly in discussions to star in the film.

He developed a taste for conquering the big screen after appearing in the Amy Schumer movie “Trainwreck” in which LeBron played himself.

James’ SpringHill Entertainment will reportedly produce the film, which Mallory will write.

After his Cleveland Cavaliers were defeated by the Golden State Warriors in the 2018 Finals, James shocked no one but the locals when he agreed to sign with the Lakers for hundreds of millions of dollars ($154M to be exact).

There is no word on the plot for the untitled comedy nor are any other details available regarding the cast, director, and release date.

James is also going to play the lead role in the basketball movie “Space Jam 2.” The movie is “doomed” to fail for a number of reasons, according to the first movie’s director, per gamespot.com.

In other news, LeBron is going to be on the cover of NBA 2K19’s 20th Anniversary Edition this year.
