*How about some mid-day gossip to make your day go just a little bit faster. So, let’s talk about Cleveland Cavaliers star player Tristan Thompson, also known as Khloe Kardashian‘s baby daddy. He, of course, is also infamously know for getting caught tippin’ on Khloe with his side piece, a chick now known to the world as Lani Blair.
And speaking of Ms. Blair, the word on the street is that she’s is not too thrilled with Thompson because he and Khloe K have gotten past his on-the-side hook ups with Blair and it’s just all lovey dovey and stuff between them now. And that’s a problem for Lani. You see, Tristan promised to “take care of her”, but we see how that turned out. Po’ thang.
So, of course Lani is pissed that Thompson is back with Khloe Kardashian. Remember Lani, you may be super-hot with a nice booty and curves and stuff, but Khloe’s got curves too, but more importantly, she’s RICH. Unfortunately for Lani, Tristan always told her she meant a lot to him and they had a deal he’d take care of her if she kept their rendezvous on the down low and she stayed in the background and stayed out of the limelight. “Lani definitely held up her end of the bargain,”says an insider, according to Celebrity Insider.
Of course, as you no doubt know by now, Lani and Tristan were caught red-handed on camera at a New York hotel just two days before Khloe gave birth to her and Tristan’s daughter, True.

Here’s where it gets even more interesting. You see, Lani, a bartender by profession, kept quiet about the affair and apparently, that’s pretty common among her fellow bartenders, says the inside source.
“Lani and her Startenders associates (a group of former Starlet’s bartenders, including Bernice Burgos) always had a strict code that they do not tell any of their business about their dealings with athletes and rappers.
“Lani was part of a group of women who thrived off of anonymity, and that was one of the reasons Tristan was drawn to Lani and also what made his escapades with her so fun,” says the insider with the info. “It was the fact that he knew she would be super low-key about what they were doing, and the fact that she was relatively unknown to the general public, it made everything easier. It was not until he was followed and spotted in the club and the hotel that his entire jig was up.”
Yep, all good things must come to an end, as the age old saying goes. Or, to paraphrase another saying, “what’s done in the dark always comes to light.”
And now, a final thought on the situation from the insider:
“Tristan and Lani had been seeing each other on and off for a long time without being outed. So to see him spending time with Khloe was shocking to Lani because he does not spend much time with Jordan (Craig), and the fact that Khloe would go support Tristan at his game only means they are working things out and there are deeper feelings among them.”
We’ll make a prediction that it won’t be long before Miss Lani Blair is back in the saddle and Tristan will be a distant memory ’cause now that her name is out there and all those rich, single (and married) athletes know what she likes, she’ll be fighting them off. Plus, since we know Tristan’s a purebred dog, he’ll be back, sniffin’ around.
