*Elijah Grae is an independent music artist from The Bay Area who celebrated his newest single “Rivals” at his listening party this past weekend in Los Angeles. Grae spoke with EURweb and shared his creative process behind his new single: “Rivals is a political record that sounds like a love song.”
The visual for “Rivals” is looking to be dropped this following week. Elijah shared when creating the visual that “we wanted to push the envelope for this one.”
Elijah was an original member of the Drop City Yacht Club and after complications with his former group he decided to go the solo route. Since the change, Elijah has been writing, producing with his partner A.V., and creating new records including another single called “Touch and Geaux” coming in the next few months.
The music gene runs in Elijah’s family being that he is the son of two musicians. Music has always been around him coming up and it’s safe to say that he’s gotten pretty good at it. Elijah has already worked with legendary acts in the music industry having credits with The Bay Area’s own E-40. The artist has produced the 2014 E-40 record RedCup ft. B.O.B, Kid Ink, and T-Pain.
