“Why you trying to drag everybody else down into your s–thole?,” he asked, per TMZ Sports. “Don’t try to drag other people in to make yourself feel like you’re correct. Don’t try to bring public figures who fight for black rights to help you and the foolishness that you’re doing to pull other people down that tunnel.”

While Bennett was wearing a pair of Yeezy sneakers, he explained they were an older pair, purchased before Kanye lost his mind.

“These are before cray ‘Ye,” he said.

Bennett also said that he wasn’t going to burn his shoes, like some fans did with their Nike apparel when Kaepernick was announced a the face of their new ad campaign.

Meanwhile, Kanye called Ebro of HOT 97 and tried to get him to help organize a meeting between Kaepernick and Trump at the White House in October.

“I’ve been calling Colin this morning, reaching him, so I can bring Colin to the White House and we can remove that s— of b—— statement and we can be on the same page,” the rapper, donning a “Make America Great Again” hat, told TMZ on Monday.

“We never give up on anyone,” he added. “Let me even make that more positive, we move forward, we give love, we keeping going, we keep having the conversation until the conversation turns to love.”
