Andrea Kelly Again Tells Her Story of Abuse by R. Kelly on ‘The View’ – WATCH

*Andrea Kelly, the ex-wife of the notorious R. Kelly, has taken her story of abuse by the singer to the ladies of “The View.”

They were married from 1996 to 2009, Andrea kept silent while he dealt with being sued multiple times for alleged sexual contact with teenagers. Also during heir 13-year marriage, the singer also stood trial on multiple counts of child pornography.

When asked why she decided to speak up now, Andrea kelly said it was “about saving lives.”

The 44-year-old professional dancer also added …

“You cannot, not speak when someone’s life and what they’ve been is parallel to yours…It’s different when you hear words that ring true to your spirit because you survived it. I wanted to bring validity to these women’s story because so much of it falls on deaf ears.”

During the segment she recalled an incident in which she alleges R. Kelly nearly killed her in the back of a Hummer.

“A lot of people know that I’m a professional dancer, so my body is my work. I remember one time he did attack me in the back of a Hummer and I do suffer from PTSD because of it. Whenever I would see Hummers on the road, I would shake, my hands would sweat and I would get nervous and I couldn’t breathe. He attacked me one time in the back of a Hummer and I thought I was going to die because what he had done was he had taken my left arm and pulled it behind me and his weight was on my body but he didn’t realize his forearm was on my neck. So, as he’s pressing down, my breathing is getting labored and the only reason I think I made it out is because I said, ‘Robert, you’re going to kill me! I can’t breathe! You have to get your arms off of my neck!’”

Andrea Kelly also claimed that anything would set her former husband off including the temperature of the milk he would have with breakfast.

“It could be anything from the milk being too cold or not cold enough for breakfast. It could be anything from ‘You knew I told you not to wear that’. It could be if he thought I answered him the wrong way and there was too much ‘tone’ in my voice.”

This isn’t the first time she’s told her story. The first time was back in June. After which the she says her three children were bullied victim-shamed.

“People actually said, ‘She’s coming out because she needs money’ or ‘She didn’t say anything because she got money,’” Andrea Kelly said. “There’s not enough money in the world for any woman to stay and get abused.”

After Andrea told her story, R. Kelly released “I Admit,” a 19-minute song, in which he addressed the allegations made about him over the last two decades.

It was a moment when her youngest daughter reacted to R. Kelly’s meanness toward her that finally made Andrea Kelly decide to leave.
