*If you listen to comedian Godfrey on SiriusXM every afternoon or if you’re just a fan who catches him when you can, you know he’s always coming at you with straight up ish.
For the funny guy it’s not easy to discuss the fall of Bill Cosby because among other things, he used to work for Cos (as the audience warm up act) and has good memories about the experience.
However, at the end of the day, the funnyman is heartsick over the fall of Cosby because he remembers the day when Cosby made black people look good.
TMZ caught up to Godfrey Monday night in Hollywood outside the Laugh Factory and he seemed torn up over the impending sentencing for sexual assault.
He feels strongly … Cosby shouldn’t get prison time. Godfrey says the dude is 81 and blind, and his reputation is ruined, so house arrest is the way to go.
Cosby faces a maximum of 10 years in prison.
Godfrey also has some harsh words for Cosby’s wife, Camille.

Speaking of Cosby, the shamed star returns to court today to learn whether he’ll be locked up for up to 10 years for the 2004 sexual assault of Andrea Constand.
Page Six reports that Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neill will first have to determine whether to designate Cosby a “sexually violent predator,” which would mean he’d have to report to police and attend monthly counseling sessions for the rest of his life, in addition to registering as a sex offender.
At that point, Cosby will learn if he’ll be sent to prison for drugging and molesting the former Temple University basketball administrator at his suburban Philadelphia home. He was convicted by a jury in April.
Prosecutors asked that the 81-year-old, who claims he’s legally blind, be sentenced to five to 10 years, plus $25,000 in fines, while the defense team has begged for probation, citing his age and health, as you heard/saw comedian Godfrey discuss above.
