*So what’s up with Amazon? It appears they’ve joined H&M in selling questionable clothing worn by children. We all know how H&M’s black boy/baddest monkey in the jungle campaign ended (not well).
Obviously Amazon didn’t learn from H&M’s debacle. If it did, the company wouldn’t be finding itself under fire for selling apparel with the phrases “Slavery Gets Sh*t Done.” UPdate: As of now, the company has since then taken the clothes off the website.
The offensive clothing was being sold as part of the Amazon Marketplace program, which allows individuals to sell what they’d like on Amazon.
The seller, Styleart, had an entire line of t-shirts, mugs, baby bibs, tote bags and sweatshirts with the phrase. The items were being modeled by children and infants.
Only problem for them now is they can’t sell it on Amazon.
