*Tonight on “Shots Fired,” in an episode titled “Hour Two: Betrayal of Trust,” Ashe (Sanaa Lathan) and Preston (Stephan James) face a new challenge in the investigation of the death of Jesse Carr (Jacob Leinbach) when a controversial video featuring Jesse’s shooter, Officer Beck (Tristan Mack Wilds), leaks.
Additionally, things get dicey when Ashe and Preston decide to investigate the separate deaths of Jesse and Joey Campbell (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) at the same time.
Tonight’s episode will also introduce veteran actor Richard Dreyfuss’ character named Arlen Cox, a white real estate mogul who builds private prisons. Pastor Janae stirs up emotions during an interview with local media when she issues a challenge to Governor Eamons to reach out to all families who have been touched by racially-charged shootings.
