*Boy what a night it was Saturday (02-26-17) at the Ritz Carlton in Downtown LA where there were literally thousands of fans who gathered with various sports and entertainment figures to help celebrate Floyd “Money’ Mayweather‘s 40th year on the planet.
Floyd Mayweather Sr. was there to support his son at this fabulous event along with rappers Too Short, The Game, Fat Joe, Bobby Brown, comedian Joe Torry, actor Michael Jai White, and so many others the list just goes on, and on where there’s not enough room to fit in this piece.

The organizers of the event pulled out all the stops and left no stone unturned in making this a fantastic night.
There was a money tree erected in the lobby outside the ballroom where the party was held that displayed 100 dollar bills with Floyd’s image on each.

There were so many people packed inside that they had to stop folks from coming in at one point. Everyone that did get into this black tie event certainly had a ball.
The big question on everyone’s mind however was whether or not the fight with UFC champion Connor McGregor is set to go down and nobody could get an answer to that. As I always say, we’ll see what happens.
This writer would like to personally wish the champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather a very Happy Birthday and pray that he continues to live healthy for many years to come.
